WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE?
The electrical safe isolation and electrical emergency first aid course is designed for anybody who has a requirement to work on electrical circuits as part of their job. The course is designed for electricians and non-qualified workers alike.
WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?
There are no formal qualifications required for candidates to take this course.
HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
The course is a one day course, forming up at 0830 hours and finishng at approximately 1630 hours depending on the number of candidates attending, (normally no more than 5).
Course Content
Electrical safe working practices and working in compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
Safe isolation and locking off procedures,
Electrical emergency first aid procedures,
Electrical Safe Isolation and Electrical Emergency First Aid principles will tested at the end of the course with theory and practical exams.
This is a Centre Certified Course, giving candidates useful certificates to add to their CV's and empolyers a record of training to keep with their personnel files.
Since BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Amendment 3 now requires persons to have "adequate education and training", the requirement for certificates to prove the standard of electrical education and training is essential as evidence that this requirement has been met.
