WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE?
The 18th Edition wiring regulations Amendment 4 course is for anyone wishing to carry out electrical work either as an electrician or any other trade where electrical work is required.
WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?
You will require a basic knowledge of electrical principles, safety and testing procedures, or complete our Fundamental Electrics Course.
HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
The 18th edition amendment 4 course is Three days duration, with the Full City & Guilds exam taking place on the Third day.
It is a legal requirement under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and is advised by BS7671:2008 to Amendment 4:2026 that any person carrying out electrical work in the U.K. must be competent to do so.
All electrical governing bodies will require all members to hold the BS7671:2026 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification in order to gain or hold existing memberships.
