WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE?
The 18th Edition wiring regulations course is for anyone wishing to carry out electrical work either as an electrician or any other trade where electrical work is required.
WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?
You will require a basic knowledge of electrical principles, safety and testing procedures, or complete our Fundamental Electrics Course.
HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
The 18th edition course is Three days duration, with the Full City & Guilds exam taking place on the Third day.
It is a legal requirement under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and is advised by BS7671:2008 to Amendment 1:2011 that any person carrying out electrical work in the U.K. must be competent to do so.
All electrical governing bodies will require all members to hold the BS7671:2008 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification in order to gain or hold existing memberships.
