The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) is ideal for those who want to assess both occupational competence in the workplace and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding.

It is suitable for experienced practitioners moving into assessment, as well as those already carrying out assessor duties who need a recognised qualification.

You should have relevant occupational knowledge and experience in the area you wish to assess.

You will also need access to learners so you can carry out practical assessment activities and build your portfolio of evidence.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?

The Highfield Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) has a credit value of 15, 84 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 150 hours.

Delivery is flexible and may include tutorials, independent study, assessment practice and portfolio building.
