WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE? The Heating Controls Wiring Course is aimed at existing gas engineers or ACS approved gas operatives including newly qualified ACS engineers, who are looking to enhance their practical skills with further technical support on boiler maintenance, fault finding and repair. WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE? This course is designed for Gas engineers the requirement is ACS Approved. HOW LONG IS THE COURSE? The Heating Controls Wiring Course is a two day course (combined with Boiler Fault finding ). Upon successful completion you will be awarded a West Midlands Developments Certificate of achievement. COURSE CONTENT Avoid wasting money, knowing how to wire heating controls will enable you to carry out your own installation complete without having to rely on other people. You will also learn how to diagnose faults on the heating controls side meaning you will be able to work on systems installed by others without the guess work. You will be taught how to wire up all the usual systems such as 'S' Plans, Y Plans and C plans, as well as hybrid systems that use different combinations of wiring. This course will give you the confidence to work effectively and efficiently saving you and customers time and money. Our technician will train you how to use your multimeter properly to diagnose faults. Understand resistance with sensors, continuity, NTC & PTC circuits, check components on PCB boards. You will be trained on electrical safety and how to check for polarity faults which could affect the flame rectification circuit. If you have opted for a career as a breakdown engineer or just want to brush up on your fault finding skills then this is the course for you. Note if you have your own multimeter then bring it along and we will show you how to use it, if you haven’t, our highly skilled trainer will demonstrate a recommended model. The areas covered on this course include: Installation of Y Plans Installation of S Plans Installation of C Plans Wiring logic for heating controls and fault finding the wiring side of heating systems Fault finding logic sequence Be able to trace a fault from a particular point in boilers start up sequence Fully understand the interlocks and how to diagnose the faults using a multimeter Test down to component level to measure resistance to determine a good bad scenario
Cancellation Policy
This Agreement is made between Radiant Flow Wellness, LLC, a Limited Liability Company operating in the State of Idaho (“Radiant Flow, “we,” “us,” and “our”) and you, the undersigned (electronically or by hand) or person who has clicked “I Agree” (or something similar) to this Agreement (“you” and “your”). Termination: Both you and Radiant Flow can terminate this Agreement, but must provide 14 days for retreats within the U.S.) and 30 days for international retreats written notice. Alternatively, if both parties agree to end the relationship at once, that will be binding. If you violate any of the expectations outlined above, Radiant Flow may terminate this Agreement effective immediately, and you will not be entitled to any refunds or any continued working relationship with Radiant Flow. Payment. You agree to pay the Retreat price listed in Schedule “A” Retreat Details. We require a $250 (local) or $500 (international) non-refundable deposit at the time of registration. Full payment is due four (4) (local) or eight (8) weeks (international) before the Retreat. Refunds and Cancellation. Our refund policy is as follows: If you can no longer attend the retreat, you must give four (4) weeks (local) or eight (8) weeks (international) notice to receive a refund. Written notice of such cancellation must be emailed to and received by the Organizer at jessica@thrivepilates.com within this period. The deposit value will remain non-refundable. If you cancel with less than the required notice period, we may consider transferring your payment to a credit that must be used within one (1) year. If Radiant Flow has incurred any cancellation penalties from our suppliers because of your cancellation, this value will not be transferred to the credit. The deposit remains non-refundable and will not be transferred. If you are unable to use the credit within the one (1) year period, you may transfer your credit to another person who can attend a retreat within the agreed period. The expiration date will not change. The deposit is not transferable. If Radiant Flow is unable to facilitate the Retreat and it does not happen, we will refund you the full value paid to Radiant Flow. Radiant Flow shall not be responsible for any additional fees paid by the participant to any third parties, such as travel companies, etc.
