WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE?
The Photovoltaic Installers course is more often called the PV Installers Course. This is the right course for you if you wish to install PV installations and join this rapidly expanding and lucrative industry.
WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?
You will be required to hold Part P Full Scope or equivalent qualification in order to gain the PV Installers qualification. You must be able to to install, test and certify a single circuit and hold the 17th edition wiring regulations qualification . West Midlands Developments Electrical and Renewable Energies Training Centre can offer you all the training you need to gain the qualifications if you do not already hold them.
HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
The duration of the PV Installers Course is 5 Days. The course is certified by Logic certification or City and Guilds (Your choice).

• PV system components
• Inverter and electrical protection
• Performance monitoring
• PV Modules and arrays
• AC System and metering
• Understanding the DC system
• Installations, fitting panels to a roof, roofing construction and differing tile types.
• Commissioning and testing, connecting to the grid.
• PV for the self employed
• PV Surveys and selling the system
• MCS and RECC Assurance code
